How it Works

  1. Creating an account is free, simple, and quick! Once registered, you will be able to schedule the delivery of your bib number with a click of a mouse.

    Bib In A Zip only accepts credit payments by Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Please refer to Pricing & Delivery for the exact cost of your bib delivery.

    Order Cut-Off Time
    Orders should be placed before the day bib numbers become available. For example, if bib numbers become available for pickup on Wednesday, orders should be placed by 11:59 PM on Tuesday. A late charge will apply to all orders placed after the cut-off time.

    Once your order has been placed, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address.

    * Customers who place an order by phone must reply back to the confirmation e-mail. This grants Bib In A Zip permission to pick-up the requested bib number(s).

  3. Bib In A Zip will pick up bib numbers as soon as they become available and begin deliveries immediately. We realize the importance of these numbers and we guarantee that they will be in your hand no later than 8 PM, the night before the race.

    Delivery Options
    For your convenience, we offer three delivery options:

    1. Direct delivery to home or office in Manhattan
    2. Brooklyn pickup
    3. USPS mail delivery

    Delivery Address
    When you create an account, you’ll be able to enter a delivery address for one of 3 time slots: 8 AM to 6 PM, 6 PM to 9 PM, and 9 PM to 8 AM. This address will be saved and used as your primary delivery address. Additional addresses can be added by logging in and clicking My Account.

  4. Although we cannot help you run faster, we can provide some helpful tips for your race!

    1. Be sure to fill out the emergency contact information on the back of your bib. Hopefully, it will not be needed, but it is important to have JUST IN CASE.
    2. Tune-in to the local weather station before race day, and dress accordingly for the race. You should be prepared for all that Mother Nature has to offer (hot, cold, wind, rain).
    3. Try to arrive to the course early. This will give you time to warm-up, stretch, and use the restroom.
    4. Take advantage of the water stations. They are there to make sure you stay hydrated. Dehydration can lead to muscle cramps, nausea, and weakness-all of which will slow you down!
    5. Once you have crossed the finish line, be sure to do some light jogging/easy walking to keep the blood from pooling in your lower extremities.

    Although we can give you many tips, the most important one is to ALWAYS remain focused and believe in yourself. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

Rates start with a $15 Service Charge per bib delivered

Late orders:

  • Placed the day or after the day bib numbers become available for pickup will be charged a $15 late fee
  • Placed on the last day for pickup, prior to race day, will be charged a $30 late fee

Delivery Options

  1. Direct delivery – Manhattan only
    • $15 Service Charge + $1 to $6 Delivery Charge (please see zone map)
  2. Brooklyn pickup
    • $15 Service Charge + $2.25 Delivery Charge
    • On the days bibs are available for pickup, a Bib In A Zip representative will be stationed from 5 PM to 8 PM at Starbucks (Atlantic Terminal), 139 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11217
  3. USPS mail delivery
    • 2-day: $15 Service Charge + $5.10 postage
      Order must be placed by 3 PM (and bibs must be available for pickup) at least 3 days prior to race
    • Overnight: $15 Service Charge + $17.75 postage
      Order must be placed by 3 PM (and bibs must be available for pickup) at least 2 days prior to race

Can I trust Bib In A Zip to deliver my bib number in time for my race?
Of course! We guarantee you will have your bib number before race day. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and will do everything possible to ensure you are pleased with our services.

In the past, at times I would have a friend who lives on the upper east side pick up my bib, but I feel like I'm imposing when I sign up for so many races -- many of them on consecutive weeks. So, when I saw and advertisement for Bib In A Zip, I decided to try it.

I have been using Bib In A Zip's services to pick up my materials for a number of races. I have yet to have any criticism of the service provided. My bib is always delivered to me timely, even if I have special scheduling restraints. The bib is always delivered professionally, such that I have no qualms about clients coming in contact with the deliverer when my bib is delivered to my office.

The bib is delivered with a friendly reminder of the race start time and place and a print-out of the race course. I find this particularly useful. I keep everything with me for race day morning, so I know to go up to 102nd or stay on the West Side Drive, etc. The inspirational quote is also a nice touch -- I find it encouraging.

I still consider myself a new runner and it doesn't take much to discourage me from running a race, even one that I've already signed up for. The convenience of having my bib delivered to me removes one of the potential excuses for me skipping a race. I don't know if I've run more races since using the Bib In A Zip service, but I feel more motivated to go out and run.

Now that I've used Bib In A Zip's service, I don't know what I'd do without it.

I just wanted to let you know I consider Bib in a Zip a wonderful service. Due to where I live and work, it's a little out of the way for me to... pick up the bib. Investing 1.5 hours and two subway fares to pick up the bib is just not convenient for me - particularly the 1.5 hours are difficulty to justify. Having the option to have Bib in a Zip pick up the bib for me sometimes means the difference between running a given race or not running it.

I started using Bib in a Zip about three months ago. I was tired of having to leave work in the middle of the day and spend $15 in taxi fare... just so that I could get my bib and ensure that I received the right size t-shirt. I wear a small, and most smalls are out of stock by race day. I also have a 2 year old and planning to get to the race in time to also get my registration materials was another headache I was eager to avoid. Using Bib in a Zip has been a wonderful change to my running experience. I don’t even have to print of a map of the race for my husband when he comes to a race because Derek provides one in the envelope!
